Payroll giving is a fantastic way to support your favourite charities.
As an employee of The Entertainer you can make donations direct from your salary and your chosen charity will benefit from receiving the tax you would have paid on that amount.
There’s also a bulging list of charities supported by The Entertainer that will receive an extra 50 per cent from the company each time you make a donation.

The Entertainer Training Programme
Module Training Program
We offer a highly structured modular training scheme for all our sales and supervisory staff. These modules focus on specific retail skills and are assessed by the store manager and also our training assessors.
Successful completion of a module will result in an incremental pay rise. On completion of all five modules they will receive a Certificate in Retail Excellence.
NVQ’s and Modern Apprenticeships
We also actively encourage our employees to take part in NVQ and Modern Apprenticeship qualifications in customer service, retail operations, administration and distribution. These usually take about twelve months to complete and are assessed 'on the job' by a recognized NVQ assessor.
Retail Development Program
We also offer in house training at our store based training centres in Birmingham and Kingston Upon Thames. These programs run through out the year between February and October and are aimed at developing existing staff at supervisor level and above.
The courses are very hands on and teach key practical skills that are required to run one of our stores, such as shop floor merchandising, and induction and recruitment.
Manager training programs are also run at designated induction stores where new managers can learn ‘on the job’ with experienced store managers, and will include orientation days at Head Office.
